When you want to be in a better place . . . . .

We all experience times and situations that are challenging, or when we need to create change.  Sometimes it's difficult to know where to begin

An experienced psychologist can be very helpful.

Gold Coast Psychology Services may be the ideal place to get started on the right path, and there are two branches:

  • Gold Coast Counselling & Psychology, which is for those clients seeking counselling for personal issues such as stress, anxiety, mood, relationships, trauma, military service and lifestyle difficulties; and

  • Gold Coast Performance Psychology, which is for those clients who have a focus on sports, and who wish to gain a better understanding of the mental skills needed to compete at a high level.

The practice is operated by Craig Pearman (psychologist).

I became involved in the field of psychology over 30 years ago, and I still feel privileged to be doing something I enjoy, something I find rewarding, and something that helps others.

I've been a private practitioner for most of that time, but I've also worked in education settings, healthcare settings, organisational settings, and government agencies over the years.

I look forward to the opportunity of working with you.

About
01.

I work with individuals (16+) and couples on a wide range of issues, including anxiety, depression, stress, phobias, conflict & anger, lifestyle change and veterans' health.  You may self-refer, or seek a referral from your health practitioner.

02.

I work with athletes ranging from juniors to masters, all the way up to elite and Olympic representatives.  I help athletes to recognise the importance of mental skills in their sport, and to build & strengthen those skills for optimum performance.

03.

I regularly run seminars on topics of relevance to athletes, typically with organised clubs or schools, usually at the Runaway Bay Sports Centre.

I also run workshops and programs for Defence veteran groups.  Contact Open Arms to find out more.
